Also, you have the option of enjoying the fabulous shopping offers in Colombo during your city tour. This tour package does NOT lock you into a large group on a prearranged coach tour. You can explore the sites at your own pace, in a car or minivan, with your personal chauffeur.

Itinerary

Day 01 - AIRPORT | KANDY (APPROX.TRAVEL TIME 3.5 HRS)

After breakfast, a Kandy city tour is available for you to explore the town at your own pace. Visit one of the finest botanical gardens in Asia the Peradeniya Botanical gardens, a gem museum during the morning hours. Later in the afternoon visit the Temple of the tooth, one of the most sacred sites for the Buddhist population. Followed by a visit to a small theatre to watch a traditional Kandyan dance performance which lasts about an hour from 5 pm to 06 pm, showcasing some of the country’s rich dance culture. It culminates with a dramatic fire-walking show. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel or take the advice of your chauffeur to select a restaurant in Kandy for a dinner outing.
